Nomination Petition HERE. Petitions must be filed with the Elections Committee by Thursday, October 6, 2016.
To run for the Board of Trustees, candidates are required to:
- Be a homeowner in Westridge as of October 6, 2016.
- File a Petition of Candidacy, signed by at least ten homeowners, with the Elections Committee by Thursday, October 6, 2016. Petitions will be available at the Clubhouse and on the Web site at www.westridgeva.org Completed forms should be returned to the Clubhouse.
- Submit a short biographical sketch that will be published and sent to all members of the community prior to the election. The Elections Committee will not guarantee publication of biographical information not received by Thursday, October 6, 2016.
Nominations from the floor and write-in ballots are not permitted.
In addition to the election of members to the Board of Trustees, homeowners will also be voting for their Neighborhood Board members. Each Neighborhood Board consists of up to 7 individuals.
To run for election to a Neighborhood Board, candidates are required to:
- Be a homeowner in Westridge as of October 6, 2016.
- Submit his/her name in writing to the Elections Committee c/o the Clubhouse no later than Thursday, October 6, 2016. Email submissions may be sent to hoa@westridgeva.org.
Community decisions can have a large impact on the quality of life in Westridge. The Board of Trustees and the Elections Committee strongly encourage all homeowners to become involved in the decision-making process by participating in this upcoming election.
