Thirty years after control of the Association was turned over to the homeowners from the developer, we continue to operate using the same documents. A lot has changed over the years. The community has grown and matured. State laws governing the operation of community associations have changed, and we are finding that continued adherence to the requirements of our documents is not the most efficient and cost-effective manner of doing business. Therefore, we are seeking consent from the Westridge homeowners to change the Declaration. The written consent of owners of at least 90 percent of the Westridge lots is required to change the Declaration. The Windsor Park Apartments comprise more than 10%of the lots within Westridge. Therefore, we would be unable to amend the Declaration without the support of the owners of Windsor Park. We have their support, so this letter kicks off our campaign to get your consent.

At this time, we are seeking to reduce the percentage of homeowners needed to amend the Declaration from 90% to 70%. By first making this change, efforts to further amend the Declaration in the future will be less burdensome for the community. To grant your consent for the proposed amendment, please sign and return the Ratification
and Consent form. The Ratification and Consent form must be signed by ALL RECORD OWNERS of the lot. If necessary, more than one form may be used to obtain the signature of each homeowner.
